Harley-Davidson Measurements
Below you will see our method for measuring your windshield. The Dotted Line Measurement is along the surface of the windshield at the angle it leans. This is what specifies the windshield's size. Measurement starting points are generally mounting hardware, vent openings, or headlights. The starting point of your measurement will depend on your bike model. Measure vertically from the top center above the dashboard(above the vent). Based on the factory windshield measurement, decide how tall you will need to go to reach the mustache height. SHOP SHIELDS

Measure from the center mounting bolt to the windshield's top rim along the surface of the shield following the stock lean angle. SHOP SHIELDS

Road Glide 2015 and Newer
Measure from the top center of the vent hole to the windshield's top rim along the surface of the shield following the stock lean angle. SHOP SHIELDS

Road King w/ 10" Headlight and Quick Release Bracket
Measure from the top center of the headlight along the surface of the shield. The shield measurement includes the 1" gap between the headlight and windshield. This gap may very in size depending on your bike. SHOP SHIELDS

Softail w/ 7" Headlight and Quick Release Bracket
Measure along the surface of the shield from the top center of the headlight cut out to the shield's top rim. Do not include the gap between the headlight and the bottom of the shield. SHOP SHIELDS

Long Ride Shields® does not accommodate windshield fitment for Harley-Davidson Softail bikes that don't utilize the quick release bracket, however, we are developing new products everyday.
