Harley-Davidson Measurements
Below, you will see our methods for measuring your windshield. Measurement "zero points" are typically defined by mounting hardware, vent openings, or headlights. The zero point of your measurement will depend on your bike model. From the zero point, you will measure vertically. The ideal height will be just below your nose in a comfortable riding position. You may need a second person to assist as the rider sits in a comfortable position. Extend a yardstick or other similar straight in front of you to the second person out by the windshield. The second person will measure vertical to the yard stick from the mounting starting point, identifying the current windshield height to determine what height windshield you will need. You can find more specific measurement information below the measurement video.
